The Austin Movie Blog got a call from the Lampoon telling them that writer/director Adam Rifkin's caveman comedy, Homo Erectus, will be getting a small theatrical release in May and a DVD release in September. The movie stars Rifkin, Ali Larter, David Carradine, Talia Shire, Hayes MacArthur, Gary Busey, Tom Arnold, Giuseppe Andrews, Miles Dougal, Ron Jeremy, and Carol Alt. There's no official website yet, but the trailer is up on YouTube, and it looks pretty funny! Not sure if it's going to be a "National Lampoon's" or "National Lampoon Presents" movie yet, but I'm guessing "Presents."Source: Austin Movie Blog
